Spotify Requires Mebers to Have a Facebook Acount

Spotify, an online music service, is now requiring you to log in through Facebook.  "As most of our users are already social and have already connected to Facebook, it seemed logical to integrate Spotify and Facebook logins," Spotify spokesperson Alison Bonny said.  What does this mean for all those people who don't want to have Facebook accounts as more and more online services are combining with Facebook?  The way things are going it may be almost impossible not to have a Facebook account.  There are benefits from this though.  For example if your friend is listening to a song that you want to hear too you can click on it and it will start playing the song at the same point into it as your friend.  Many people are not happy with this change because they want their privacy when listening to music sometimes.  Spotify has not confirmed this change forever they will continue to listen to their members feedback, and they plan to keep trying new things.

  1. You could also use some examples of people being unhappy through a quote. Overall though, pretty good!

  2. This could have a negative or positive effects. Why are they making you sign in with Facebook? They are probably trying to force people to join Facebook.
